This is a perfect restoration. DAF looks great in this crystal-clear transfer. Colours pop and are extremely robust. This is one
that will look amazing in any future high definition format. No print damage or grain.

No print damage on the UE but it lacks sharpness.

Noticed they've cropped a smidgen off the left edge of the print on the UE to remove the white line (edge of the negative?) that's on the SE.

This one is weird, some shots the UE wins and others the SE (it's much sharper on a fair few, check the last capture, although I think that's actually EE).

This UE is one of the best looking ones. At times especially during the opening scene the detail is so very strong. Unfortunately caps fail to show just how much detail and sharpness there is in each scene.

Not just the left side, all sides are cropped !

Not so, Chen. Sometimes the UE has more info on a particular side. Look again - at the last cap for example.

I find no problems with the UE framing and think the image is so much cleaner.

I'm not a fan of the film so will likely be selling my R1 UE when it arrives.

Likely that the UE BRD will sport the detail that is otherwise missing from the UE DVD.
