It's not that much of a problem anymore but on the early HKL discs, the bit-rate for the actual feature is very low

Jesus H. Do HKL only have ONE image of Bruce Lee from that film??? Yawn!!

It's far to early to talk about confirmed specs as the disc doesn't come out for another 6 months. I doubt even HKL know what they're doing!?!

Not sure what to make of Iceman cometh, neer seen it and that trailer isnt the best. I was glad it changed from the past soon as it looked very poor action, I hate people flying

but it sort of looks like Highlander on speed, will pick it up when its cheaper

as no way I will pay even close to full price.

Ha ha I know what you mean

Its' quite a good picture though.

As for specs, I dont think Play have listed all the features there - but as you say its too early to talk about the important stuff like language etc. Bey is doing a new commentary AFAIK.

It's quite an offbeat film... I like it, but it's not a classic really. You kinda need to see it yourself to decide as I don't think it fits any template. I wouldn't judge any film by the HKL trailer.

Yep Bey has confirmed he'll be doing a new commentary (solo). The mods at HKL have also confirmed HKL are working on High Res. trailers (at last).

Lastly I beg to differ that HKL cover art sucks. fingers crossed it will change (and easily could).

p.s - LOL FOF: PE has already slipped 3 days from the 6th to the 9th of June

Well the actual trailer was fine, as you can get a taste, but they dont exactly do much as its not hard to make a superb trailer, even from a bad film

But the people flying did make me

as I hate people flying unrealistically in films (not all the time, but mostly).

I dont mind flying if it looks possable and good quality, if they use good wire work with real looking gravity and physics. Its when they just jump about like muppets I hate, sadly few films wirework antics look good.

Most of the film is set in modern times. The fantasy stuff is kept to a minimum in an urban millieu. It's as if the added scenes from the International cut of Zu had been expanded upon. Sort of...?
