In their latest newsletter, Hong Kong Legends announced that they acquired the rights to Jackie Chan's latest HK hit "New Police Story".

They also got the rights for "Seoul Raiders", the sequel of "Tokyo Raiders".

HKL have New Police Story! :wOOt: But if this isnt the "secret" JC film they have the rights to, I wonder what is? Drunken Master 3? The Myth?

I dont know what Korea Raiders will be like, is it a sequel to Tokyo Raiders? I thought it was called Seoul Raiders?

I'll definitely wait for the HKL of New Police Story now which I'm sure will be better extras-wise than the HK DVD.
As NPS is a HK film wont it be on the normal HKL label though, not Premier Asia? They mention a 2 disc set so perhaps they mean Platinum. I hope it'll have DTS of course.

E-mail them. HKL are never going to say officially so you'll be guessing forever otherwise. For all we know they could've already released it. That news is very old.

It is or at least it was. The picture in the same newsletter calls it Seoul Raiders. Which is a much better title IMO. The last wasn't called Japan Raiders, now was it. Yes it's a sequel.

LOL where does it mention Premier Asia? All it says is it will be a 2 disc release.

Perhaps NPS IS the secret Chan film then They make no mention of it being such though.

I like how you've kept the black bars on the screen shots. The PQ looks awesome going by those captures.

Is PHP and PostNuke easy to get your head around? I've just finished my first website and I'm happy with the result but it's basic to say the least. I've just used standard html files, JPEGs and GIF files.

Not now but later on I'd like to make it look more up to date and professional.

I know very little about web design.

I don't like to edit screenshots, apart from resizing them, in order to keep them as original as possible.

I had my brother-in-law help me set up the whole MySQL database and he taught me a bit of PHP. I have a very thick book (1200 pages) on my computer desk whch features all the website languages out there. He bought it for me as a present. Cost him €40, but it's worth it. I check out all the codes I need for my site.

Those kind of delay don't bother me. It's still in the same month.

A tense, atmospheric horror, in the vein of ‘The Ring’ movies, Red Eye unveils the story of a tragic and mysterious train crash that resulted in many fatalities. The cause of the accident was never discovered, and now, 16 years later, the train is making its final run. Not long after the trip begins, the passengers start to notice strange things as the ghosts of the crash victims begin to take their revenge. Coming soon on Premier Asia!

The HKL production teams have been busy during February creating exclusive bonus features for forthcoming releases such as New Police Story, Dragons Forever, My Wife is a Gangster and City on Fire. New features include interviews with Nicholas Tse, Charlie Yeung, Daniel Wu and Coco Chiang, stunt featurettes with top Jackie Chan stuntmen Andy Cheng and Joe Eigo, and an exclusive documentary on the Seoul Action School. We also managed to secure a fascinating interview with acclaimed director and ‘City on Fire’ director, Andrew Lau (Infernal Affairs, Stormriders)

Andrew Lau will no doubt be pleased to see 'City on Fire' added to his directorial C.V. Ringo Lam may be less thrilled.

I thought that was odd too.

Am I the only one who is getting a little board of Ringu style horror flicks? So many are virtally the same. Don't get me wrong I've enjoyed what I've seen but the genre needs a rest.

As soon as a film or genre become popular it gets milked to death... the American remakes only add to the overflow of product...

In my opinion that is some of the best cover art they have ever produced!

There are also trailers for The Master, The Odd Couple, Duel To The Death and City On Fire linked to on HKL's Web site, although I can't watch them, yet I can watch the older trailers. I don't think the Web master has actually uploaded the new video files yet!

I'm guessing so mate, but I've never seen it before! I'm really looking forward to this release - it's nice to see some more Sammo Hung films getting the attention they deserve from HKL.

Odd Couple is one of the finest old school films with some amazing weapons work and Leung Kar Yan as the villain.....there is some awful comedy with Dean Shek (does anybody like this guy??) but otherwise a must have if your a fan of old school kung fu....
