I'm not blaming anyone.

It's just that:

16/9 = 1,778.
720 / 1,778 = 404,95.

The ideal height for a 16/9 capture at 720x is 405.
Since some resizing algorithms don't like odd numbers, I'm going for 404.
Wouldn't it have been better if you'd used 408 as I did?
I don't stretch my pictures.

NO English subs on the new Remastered DOBW and ATGB:
Yupgi wrote:Nope. No English subtitles on either film.

I watched both movies last night with Korean subtitles (as it's my first language) but I checked after reading back here and there don't seem to be english subtitles for either DVD.

Bad news I guess. Please don't hate the messenger though!

EDIT: Yes I have the previous set which DID contain Englsih subtitles. My guess is that someone in America wants to release these two new re-mastered versions exclusively.

The best ATGB/DOBW DVDs with English subs look to be the new Tartan versions:

Quite a lot sharper, but seeing as they're only in a box set it means little to me PLUS they're really only a little better so in other words not worth upgrading IMO.

I think the box set has ITMFL and 2046, neither of which I remotely want. The French ITMFL and Australian 2046 Tin are fine/better. They'd have to be released separately for me to consider them.
