I agree Mark, unless HKL will use the Fortune Star transfers (unlikely) I wont bother with the Project A set The other DVDs are fine and I wont be saving any shelf space with IVL's Project A box..

The VCD I bought while in Malaysia was owned by WB it had their logo on it and appeared before the film, and was called "Dragon Fight". It was cheesed up to 10 in that eighties style you can't get away with anymore.

For example one of the reasons I love the first two Beverly Hills Cop films (and one of the reasons the third failed) is because they're so much eighties films.

I preferred Hitman to Dragon Fight which I'm sure is partly because of the dubbing on Dragon Fight but not overall as Hitman is still a better film.

It should've read "can assure". On the 1992 Chinese print: "The Master" is the English title; "Wong Fei Hung '92", the Chinese title.

And, yeah, I forgot about Fist of Legend.

This title brings to my mind another JL movie: The defender (original title: Bodyguard from Beijing). Anyone knows if this will be released soon? The HK DVD seems to be out of print, and I don't want the disneyfied version...

I've been waiting for Mei Ah to remaster Bodyguard From Beijing for ages. One of the best of Jet Li's modern films.

I agree it's tops.

I have the R1 (which may actually be a port from the HK DVD). The only advantage over the VCD is it's on 1 disc. The quality is identical. Oh it is in Cantonese Stereo.

In the questionnaire it asked when would you like the newsletter I said every 2 weeks. I also used the any feedback section to mention their silly 5.1 remixes which please no one (the 5.1 or mono fan).

The good news is they're considering a forum, at last.

That would be an interesting idea, the latest "offer" they had this week (not that special) was the Manga in Motion" set for £12.99. I'd rather have some worthwhile news

Great news about the Mono.

Glad to see HKL listening to their customers at long last.

Why would a biography be in the audio menu? The wording and layout of the menu looks wrong to. Why say "mono" but not "Dolby Digital 5.1"?

This looks fake to me; as I said it's not mentioned in the PR and they've never done it before.
