I wish they'd stop with the same horror films. They're all identical except with different actors, from what I can see anyway. I wouldn't say Japanese or Korean cinema is mainstream though.

Stuff virtually no one has heard of. Even less popular than most foreign language films. Exploitation for instance.
Could you give me examles?
Not easily as I try to avoid it

. The sort of stuff in your exploitation threads and cult cinema thread. They look awful, mostly IMO.
Well, I admit I'm not the best person say that. What US is producing nowadays looks generally so bad that I rarely bother to watch anything.
Fair enough then. I know what you mean if a film or selection of films look awful I don't tend to bother either.
The Bourne Identity – 3,5/5
and that unneeded flashback at the end. Better than any Bond movie from the last two decades (although some come close).
Have you seen Casino Royale or License to Kill? Both are far superior to Bourne Identity. I'd also say Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies are too but the first two are stronger contenders for grit and realism.
What flashback btw? I don't remember one.
Have you seen Supremacy yet? It's even better. I didn't like it at first due to the shakey-cam but now I appreciate it. It does move at a much faster pace to Identity.
I agree Franka was great (she's a decent actress who rarely seems to be able to pick decent parts) but I don't like what they did to her character in Supremacy. I best not mention what it is.
