I can only go by on what I see and there certainly seems to be a lot of pissed off Muslims right now, and that's excluding the extremist ones.
Even to the point that someone cannot be guiltily just because he's Muslim. This is effectively what I kept hearing on TV during recent raids in Manchester. It wasn't "we'll let the police do their investigation first" but no he cannot be a criminal he's Muslim, it's not possible, all non-Muslims are out to get me.
So paranoid, particularly in the younger generation.
I'm not remotely saying it isn't partially justified just that the stance to constantly fight instead of compromising and working together is all wrong, well it is IMO anyway.
I'm specifically talking about British Muslims btw. Who're as British as I am, again IMO.

But the propaganda is right about the penalties for crimes is it not?

Because sharia law would prevent them from saying the things they like to say. Talk about having your cake and eating it.

Reinstate? Has sharia law ever been in power in the UK?
Markgway wrote:but do not bring it to my doorstep or try to turn Britain into Little Islam. You live in the UK you live by its secular rules. That's the way it has to be. I wouldn't move to a Muslim-based country and start whining about how tough it is to be a Christian or that everyone should live by the Bible. I deplore racism and know that peaceful Muslims sometimes get a tough time... but this Islamaphobia nonsense has gotten out of control.
Well said. I couldn't agree more.
