123 minutes ?
That's NTSC, not PAL...
Or are they releasing some kind of extended cut ?
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

The BBFC also list the FILM (i.e - Cinema) version, it's that they're referring to:
http://www.bbfc.co.uk/website/Classifie ... enDocument
You will note the top right hand corner says FILM version, they say VIDEO for VHS and DVD submissions.

Warrior King (aka - TYG) is out at the end of the month and is a fair £10.99 at Play (cheaper than CD WOW at £13.99 before vouchers):
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=ti ... P36=498U48
Is anyone planning to get it? It should be uncut, unaltered with the original Thai audio. Does anyone know when the R1 is out?
I'll wait if it's this year.

Big Boss Platinum is £13.99 @ CD-WOW before vouchers so not exactly a bargain. It may cheaper at Play.
I won't get it though.

hey,
I believe someone originally, as a joke, mocked up a photo that placed Lee in a Norweigan location. This then ended up on the platinum dvd as part of the rare photos.

No comparison to other DVDs though
. I'll get it when it's under a tenner.
Although I'd have preferred the original Mandarin, to me at least it doesn't bother me, Cantonese will do just nicely. The Cantonese has the war cries to, making it immediately better IMO.

Another review:
http://www.dvdactive.com/reviews/dvd/th ... ition.html
When it drops by £2+ at CD WOW (it's currently £13.99 before vouchers) I'll pick it up. It's taking it's time.

Why give money to a company who clearly don't give two shits about their custom?
You'd be better getting a DVD-R for free.

As I disagree I will be. It's all about what you consider higher or lower in your priorities. We've been over this ground before.
Markgway wrote: You'd be better getting a DVD-R for free.
From where exactly? Which would be a DVD-5 so compressed and of inferior quality anyway.
The extras alone look decent, more so than I was expecting. I'll still be keeping my old HKL though for the Bey Logan commentary, something I didn't need to do with their FOF DVD.
