Have I missed something. Where does it say it's new?
Nowhere. I said "AS THOUGH it were new"
It's anything other than the current cut, it has deleted scenes after all.
Doesn't say there's deleted scenes only that they'll be a featurette regarding the deleted scenes. Not quite the same thing. I don't trust HKL that much, especially after Fist of Fury.
Mandarin Mono is the worst case scenario???
Standard version is.
When you say standard version I presume you mean standard cut not standard HKL transfer?
Yeah, standard cut.

All it says, is it includes a feature length commentary; you're reading too much into it

And there's bradavon's latest post that could also be grammar-corrected! :P

Good point, corrected Miss Trunchbull.

I suggest you check your own grammar :D (precisely why I make a point of not correcting other people's grammar, classic).

I suggest you pay more attention IM as I don't believe I've corrected anyone's grammar in months, maybe years. In other words change the record.

And I suggest you pay more attention to your own posts! In this very thread, just a few posts back, you corrected dragonhero005!

Oh, and you still don't know the difference between "to" and "too". :P

FUCK OFF IM!

True I don't get it right all the time BUT NEITHER DO YOU. The difference I don't bother to correct your posts.

The fact is my English is mostly fine proven by the fact you can only nitpick. Have you even noticed the grammar mistakes in your post? I guess not as your English is perfect.

It's pathetic really.

I'll just say that was completely different:

1. One is being deliberately pedantic.
2. Correcting someone whose first language is not English, i.e - helping them out. I sure as hell would be pleased if someone corrected my French for example, if I got it wrong.

They're not the same at all.

You're a bit touchy for a moderator aren't you? You can't take constructive criticism. I never said I get it right all the time. You just seem to have a habit of pointing out others' mistakes which I and romerojpg proved. But when the same is done to you, you can't take it.

Relax man.

What was constructive about your comments? Sorry I missed that. You'll note I've not shouted at Tom for his comment about my English, disproving your "I can't take it" point.

I'd agree I have a habit if it were true, you're only able to cite 1-2 examples in months.

I've only become touchy at you, as you deliberately point out every mistake in my comments; which as I've already said is very nit picky considering how much I post here.

For the record Romero please show me the link where I corrected your English recently?

@Brad:
Show some restraint, will ya ?
FUCK OFF IM!
IronMonkey is wrong.
Brad is wrong.

You both make spelling mistakes, so stop bickering like children.

Just casually mention it from time to time, that'll be fine. Image

@ Tom: Noted

@ LD: Do you still keep track of what's coming soon at HKL? There used to be a decent coming soon list.

Hand of Death has been delayed until next Spring.

Hap Ki Do is next up, then, I think, A Better Tomorrow II.

Please do this and please do that! My God! Are we in pre-school?

@Brad:
I don't bother with keeping up with HKLs upcoming discs anymore. I have been let down big time by them. If I come across a review of one of their discs that I think is worth getting for decent AV/subs and a decent price, I'll get it. Won't ask them for review copies any longer.

Well no if we were I wouldn't have said please and besides I could've just edited his signature and changed it myself, but I wouldn't do that.

I could've even swore and shouted but I get moaned at even when being polite. You can't win really.

And that's what I meant in the other thread when I gave the reason for not wanting to become a mod. I haven't lost you now, have I?

Yup, that's true. But rather with Brian White, Bey Logan and Zita Adams. Now they are all gone from there and it looks like they don't wanna spend money for sending packages of DVD outside of the UK or so. I can't think of another reason. But the prolem is that they wouldn't even get back to my emails. But I'm not really sad about that as HKL isn't the same without the three anyway. And as Brian and Bey are working on DD together again, I am very keen of writing reviews for them.

HKL trailers were always better than actual HK trailers. I don't know what's wrong with the Cantonese, having to include extended dialogue sequences that basically give away the entire film.

Very much agreed (but you mean Chinese).
