Yes, I did write Bobbi:- A Tale Of Woe. But I didn't just write. I edited and directed as well

Thanks to 68M and Grim. Glad you liked the story. I think I got Bobbi's character down quite accurately, aside from the lack of boozing ;)

Also, unfortunately, Miss Monkey, Java doesn't have anything to do with it, as far as I'm aware. Unless you see the Java logo appear on your screen and then sit next to the clock at the bottom, Java isn't loaded.

Think of how we could have added to the plot of our tale if they'd given us these screengrabs from those wonderful '70s Bollywood films!

Image
After brad confiscates the stolen car, Kurgan and Yi go cruising for women on Yi's bike. Kurgan, of course, drives. :D

Image
Yi makes the mistake of trying to pick up Shen. ;)

Image
After a narrow escape, Yi's troubles get even worse when 68Monkey catches up to him.

Image
After a little bit of torture, 68Monkey decides to put women everywhere out of their misery. . .

Image
Unfortunately, since she'd had a few drinks, her aim wasn't quite good enough. ;)

Good slideshow of images there  A tale unto itself.

Although, I'm not sure about your aim being bad; he seems to have been shot in the head :D

Yi survived the shooting, only to be arrested on charges of public brawling. He didn't have to serve too much time, though, before Kurgan managed to have the charges dropped.

Image
Yet for some strange reason, he was forever known as Prisoner 69 after his short jail term. ;)

Image
Fully recovered and enjoying "senior citizen" status, Yi continues to flirt shamelessly with women, yet perhaps due to earlier ordeals, chickens out at the last minute, promising "I'll call you."

Don't feel sorry for him, though. Today he makes a killing endorsing designer sweaters.

I was trying to go for a sort of Adrian Chiles "Match of the Day 2" or World Cup vobe with my footy film. But its often hard to see whats going on in the clips.
I know one was Italy v Cameroon in 1982 :D

Mark's third movie is as self-aggrandising a use of these clips as I've ever seen; and this comes from the guy who made himself out to be a criminal mastermind in his own film :D

And I'm not sure I like the insinuation 68M's made in her series of stills either, amusing though it is

Would be great if there was one of these subtitle editors for Kung Fu movies. :)

Just watched Mark's "Sarah" one again :D I'm not sure if she'd be touched or repulsed if she were to stumble on this thread. :)

Yeah, it would, cos then I'd be able to use Kadeem Hardison's line from Drive: "Hmph! Your Kung-Fu is weak, and obsolete. Hmph!" at every given opportunity :)

And Grim, I think she'd be mainly repulsed :D

Its' not as if I admire her from afar though :)

Yeah, a kung fu movie editor would be a good idea:

"You goddamn bastard. You killed my sifu/father/mother/brother so now I will beat you with my Snake Fist/Wing Chun/Monkey?Eagle/A.N Other style"

Second one's funny :)
And you were suprisingly close with the subbing of the first line in that one. Not as crude in the original dialogue, but same sentiment :D

OK, this one's not aimed at anyone in particular; it's just wholesome family entertainment ;)

Could be, cos it seemed to run fine on my machine...

I do like going back and watching some of these clips from time to time. One for the BnB Gold section eventually, in my opinion. :)
