There's one gay English song on the OST though. I assure that this was added because New Line produced the film and I'm sure they're planning on releasing this in NA.

I'm about to buy it.
Although I'm completely broke these days, I just can't resist anymore. :D

Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Hey Tom,

How come the Shadowless Sword DVD at Yes Asia is labelled a "Director's Cut"? Are there 2 cuts?
I'll get it at some point, I quite enjoyed Bichunmoo and like those HK fantasy films you describe (from 1989-94).

New Line has bought the rights for distribution in the US.
I suppose they'll want to cut it before releasing it over there.

Still, they were nice enough to release the original cut in Korea. :D

AFAIK it's not limited.
It will go OOP eventually, but I think that it will be available for a while.

I care too as I am put off by the high price of the Korean version. :( I'd also be interested in anybody else's opinion of the movie and the disc in general, or if anybody has found any reviews of either the movie or the DVD.

He he thanks Grim. I won't go into it again why I (generally) prefer HK DVDs. My name's no Yi-long :D

Assuming the HK DVD is uncut I'll be getting it for sure. It's bound to have decent AV. Extras for Asian films are a bonus to me.

Yeah I quite liked this one. The story is very simple in comparison with Bichunmoo but this works greatly in its favour. Couple of silly scenes in there but doesn't spoil it overall. Sword fights could've been better (Extremely mild spoiler: Unfortunately the first sword fight is probably the best choreographed, the rest tend to rely on close-ups and clever editing) but overall very enjoyable and re-watchable.

I remember a time when I described an innocuous scene from Jiang Hu and people complained that it might be a spoiler so I just err on the side of caution these days. :)

Some people are really paranoid. There's a difference between a plot point and a spoiler.

No some people like to acctually go in blind and not have the whole film mapped out for them, I hate knowing much about a film as then there are no suprises at all. If I can avoid crappy trailers I do, as they ruin most films.

Check out what Memetic said how can that be a spoiler? Besides you're saying you don't read film synposis'? To see if it's a film you may like/dislike.

Those in your world are major spoilers.

Really?!
I agree Brad, Romero is too paranoid about spoilers imo, knowing the plot/synopsis of a movie is hardly a spoiler. I suppose Romero would take offence if I told him in Bullet In The Head someone gets a bullet in the head, or Jaws has a shark in it ;)

Maybe I am, maybe I'm not.
*Sadistic laugh*

Nah, I think that every important detail should be considered a spoiler.
Memetic's right by playing it safe.
