I went for the CAC Edition (Cheap as Chips Edition :D). If I like it I can always upgrade.

It's a case of £15.99 compared with £3.99. The non-Tin version is £13.50 so I may as well get the Tin edition if I were to buy it.

I've got the tin version, and have to say I really love it. I also love the movie as well, so purchasing this was a good movie. The new transfer is really something to see. They have cleaned it alot.

Although I dont own the R2, from screenshots the new R1 beats it hands down.

And if you havent seen the movie before, rememebr it was released in 1933, its a movie very much of its time.

When i watched the recent R1 SE, it was the first time ive seen it in years, its simply a magical movie if you know how to appreciate it, the artistry that went into it. For this reason, watching the extras make you love the movie even more ! I highly recommend you go for the R1.
