CD WOW Problem(s)

Post by grim_tales »

Hey,

When I opened my CD-WOW package today (Lady Vengeance) I was puzzled.

a) I ordered the Korean 2 discer
b) They sent me the bloody HK DVD :?
I paid £15.99 and they send me the HK DVD?! Arses.

How do I send the disc back (and explain I want the KOREAN 2 DISCER instead?) I guess I could just e-mail them.

I got an e-mail back from them:

Hi

Thank you for your recent order, and very sorry to hear you have received
the wrong disc - I can fully understand how disappointing this must be for
you.

I will ensure that the correct item is dispatched to you immediately, and
that a FREEPOST envelope is sent by first-class post today to enable you to
return the wrong one to us.

We would be very grateful if you could enclose a brief note with the
returned item, clearly stating the order number (if possible), along with
your name and email address and the reason for return.

I very much appreciate your understanding and co-operation in this matter
and I sincerely hope that the inconvenience caused to you on this occasion
will not deter you from using our service again in the future

Kind Regards

Callum

I wouldn't bet on it - I had a right ordeal with my Enter The Dragon DVD. I ordered the R1 SE (red cover) and they ended up sending me 4 (yes four!) copies of the old single disc (black cover) version!

In the end I gave up with them & got my money back, ordered the DVD from Play & got the right one 1st time from them...

Fuck Fuck Fuck. I ordered the korean disc from them a couple of days ago.
I guess we'll have to see how it turns out...

Moving to correct forum, you should know better Grim

For the record with the exception of one nightmare being sent the wrong replacement I've had no troubles e-mailing them, waiting for the FREEPOST jiffy bag, sending it back and at the same time receiving the right DVD.

It's better than most companies that make you wait until they've got the DVD back.
I will ensure that the correct item is dispatched to you immediately, and that a FREEPOST envelope is sent by first-class post today to enable you to return the wrong one to us.
This works as it should in my experience.

These things happen it's annoying but no biggie IMO if they sort it out.

Bad why?

I've had virtually flawsless service. They are the best e-tailor for CDs and DVDs IMO.

Games are a bit pricey, not that I've ever bought one myself.

I'm sure they'll have sent it.

How many other companies send you out a jiffy bag with freepost address? None I can think of. You have to pay postage and they'll refund you (but they never do).
