A John Woo commentary instead? Honestly I'd rather hear Bey than listen to Woo struggling with English while talking about his religious symbolism/brotherhood themes. Wouldn't mind hearing him rant about his battles with Tsui Hark over editing the film though, but that'd be unlikely to happen since Bey said that John "is the nicest man in the world" on one of his commentaries.

It's been mentioned at Kung Fu Fandom that Bey will no longer be doing commentaries for HKL. Shame

Wonder if they'll still have commentaries, or get someone else in? Every other commentator HKL have ever had has really paled in comparison to Bey. Pity.

So Bey and Brian are going?

What does this mean for HKL and PA as far as Brian is concerned?

It's a real shame Bey is going but it was going to happen one day. It will be hard to replace him. He's still doing a FOF: PE commentary though right?

I'm sure it's Disney who own FOL and DM2 NOT the Weinstein's so fat lot of good Bey will be there.

Yes thats right, he said he'd be doing a new one, or possibly has recorded it as the DVD is out in Jan next year.

I thought Jude Poyer did quite a good job. Maybe he's not quite as enthusiastic about the films as Bey (but who is?!) but he does have some interesting information to share on the commentaries of his I've heard...

Jude Poyer was OK with someone.
Stephen Hammond was awful.

I myself wouldn't mind having a go with Hand Of Death and some of the early GH films should HKL ever actually go ahead with them

I'm also after A Chinese Ghost Story 2 as well as Outlaw Brothers but they're £16.99 (!) and £12.99 on the HKL site! Even with the "buy 1 get 1 half price" offer it still works out more expensive than buying the DVDs from CD-Wow...
