Thanks for the greeting, it's nice to be here! Unfortunately I didn't get to see any of the other films - wished I had now though, I would have liked to have met some of the other special guests. I choose Karate Girl in particular with the purpose of interviewing Rina. Rina's team brought along their own interpreter for the Q&A, but because I invited a Japanese friend of mine to come along, and arranged it beforehand, I was given the chance to interview her separately. She said the one thing she wanted to try whilst in London was Fish & Chips lol. I was told later that she tried them and liked them!HungFist wrote:Nice to hear that, and welcome to the forum, Shogun. Did you watch any other films at the fest? I took a brief look the program a few weeks ago, seemed to have nice picks (KG, Yakuza Weapon with Taku in person, etc.).

I saw the movie edit of the first series, and it wasn't very good except for Erika Yazawa. But now in the second series they have Erika, Rina, and Maki's on board too. And I saw Asami in the trailer. Wonder who else is gonna show up. Maybe worth a watch after all...![]()

I didn't know she should speak English
Knowing Japanese standards, that's a a lot more than what most learn in school. And far better than what some other Japanese actors come up with when they try to read from a piece of paper....

I think Rina's English is limited, but her pronounciation, however, is very good - it was very brave of her, I think, to speak in English, she was pretty funny at times too.HungFist wrote:- http://www.kungfucinema.com/forums/show ... 389&page=6
