Centre Stage and Rouge (Korean LE DVDs) with books

Post by grim_tales »

Hey,

Are these the same as the HK DVDs or better? They both look interesting movies :)

What does "Original Cut/No Cut" mean when talking about Centre Stage?

What does "Dubbing: Chinese (Guandong Language)" mean? Isnt that Cantonese? :?

And once again Grim writes "Rogue" instead of "Rouge".
You need to get your brain fixed, Grim. :D

About Center Stage: They say it's a 154min version.
The director's cut is supposed to be 154 mins long.
The shorter cut is about 120 mins.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

This looks like a more expensive clone of the HK DVD. A colour photo book doesn't look like it's worth it considering the HK Remaster is cheap.

It means:

The original Director's cut

I agree it's bad wording. A fine example of someone not fully understanding English.

Yep. I believe it's another word for Cantonese.

Maybe Cantonese for Cantonese.

Yep. Guangdong = Mandarin for Kuang-Tung (Canton).

So it's Mandarin for Cantonese then?
