Colour of the Loyalty

I was not a fan of Colour of the Loyalty, and personally can't see any valid reason for its existence. Those who absolutely must see every single Asian crime flick that finds its way to shiny disc might want to give it a whirl, as it is well made and acted, if not well written. The weak transfer and lack of extras may prompt fans to wait on a more solid release. Another nail in the creative coffin of the crime film genre.

Has there been a Infernal Affairs clone (or rather post-IA Asian crime/police thriller) which can actually stand up to IA yet?
That recent Korean flick, A Bittersweet Life sounds good based on the
dvdanswers review.

Speaking of Wong Jing then, I thought Moving Targets was well done, though it's operating on a bit more soap opera than IA.
Sha Po Lang is a reasonable crime thriller, where neither the cops nor the crooks are the good guys. Reminiscent of Full Alert and Bullets Over Summer in that respect.
Johnnie To's Election mainly deals with the triads and is a different sort of film than yer usual crime thriller. Once I got over the confusion of who was who, it's a pretty decent film.
