Romero - you'd "sew" them? What, you'd get your needle and thread and stitch all the people involved together? Or just repair any worn patches in their clothing?

...oh!! You meant sue them!!!

It definitely could have backfired though... imagine it was a guy who was big into his martial arts, or someone who was a bit more of a nutcase and instead of shooting them, he started to seriously kick the shit out of them... a few hard kicks to their knees etc...

Could have happened, as he did through the "gun" away at first!!

At the time he may have been scared shitless, but if he's seen all this now the way we have, looking back he probably thinks it was an awesome experience!! As long as the nightmares have gone...

But Derren Brown, he looks quite young. He must be a bloody genius to know psychology and all that so well!!!

Degen - He did "THROUGH" the gun? Sorry, mate, couldn't resist!

Man, that must be fake. There is no way on earth you could make somebody fall asleep with a few on-screen flashes. Otherwise I'd be constantly sleeping when watching animes, playing ego shooters or simply walking in the streets during a storm.

But it was very well shot and the guy did great work.

Say as you say I say Sew!

not sue! thats a ladies name. 8)

and it can go wrong very badly, people have been put in comas for life when these things go wrong or evern worse! the programme a few years back on when it goes wrong as horrifying! :? puts you off even thinking about it for life! and its not set up its an art, and the guy was probibly trained before hand to be put under the spell of the machine, he may have been to one of his live shows etc.. and volunteered etc..

"sue" can also be used as a verb, in the legal context Romero. 8)

Bollocks...

I'd like to know for sure whether this was fake or not... but doubt we'd ever find out for certain unless we knew the people involved or it happened to us... Still if the guy who was done was faking it and acting... I thought he came across ridiculously natural and realistic. Even when he was put back in the pub, his actions like nothing had happened, and his feeble attempts at going on about how good the game was - just making crap comments while trying to figure out in his head what had happened... it didn't look like acting to me, but I could be wrong!
