Ok I've been waiting for an English subtitled version of this.
The
Japanese version doesn't have English subs.
Neither does the upcoming
Korean version.
Shame, as both editions look spectacular.
But DVD Asian say that
this version has English subs. Is this the HK edition or what? Can't seem to find any more info. If anyone knows anything then I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

The captures look nice. What's it about?
Yep I'd say it's definitely the HK DVD. If it were the Taiwanese or Mainland Chinese DVD it would have a Mandarin dub for sure.
p.s - Ask CD WOW to stock it.

Do you really want to bother? Having seen it I'd certainly not pay HK price for a copy. Take Sekachu and make it 3 x duller and have 3 x more cheap moments. Horribly clichéd and uninteresting. Housewife fare made off of the success of Sekachu.

Beats paying Japan or Korean prices for it...
It may well be terrible, but I wanna find out for myself first. I might enjoy it.

Looks like the remake might come out first.
According to trade journal Screen Daily, Hollywood will be remaking another Asian movie. Japanese 2004 hit Be With You will be remade by Warner Bros., with Jennifer Garner to star.
This movie and not Sekachu? Interesting.

From now on, I'm only going to be surprised when an Asian film doesn't get remade by Hollywood lol.
