Examples from the 2007 box. Question: Is it possible to enjoy Japanese animation with the sound on (voices)? Nope- not a chance. There is ZERO, individualism within aforementioned country (as heard in their animation). Constant yelling from the main protagonist (and everyone else for that matter). Women speak sounding helpless & afraid. And then there's the children. Ugh. That box art though (Akira's too)... inspired by a family member's comment: an exhibit featuring jackets from selected region, alongside cover art from first edition novels is a phenomenal idea.
