Chow Yun-fat & John Woo currently working together again
This time however, they are working on an X-Box 2 ego-shooter videogame with Midway. Here, Chow Yun-fat will reprise his role of Tequilla from "Hard Boiled". It is supposed to be released for the new gen X-Box2 and be released sometime in 2006. If you ask me, they still have to work on Chow's face. Apart from that, the trailer looks really good.

Ohh I dont know about that, we will see when its out whatst he best control method, depends if it was specifically made for PS3 I gues
It still looks exactly like Max Payne, and that amazing on a PC mouse etc.. on the consoles it was virtually unplayable.
but I wont be able to play it on a PC as I am sure it needs a nice new system and graphics card
I may have a new rig by then.

Does the XBox 360 support a USB mouse and keyboard? Cos if it does, I ain't buying this game on a PC; I'll get it on the aforementioned console or on the PS3.
I ain't spending more money on graphics cards for PCs. It's beginning to piss me off.
Romero's right; the game is identical in control to Max Payne (which in turn, obviously owes a lot to John Woo
), but the game needed a mouse and keyboard for the accuracy. Joypads just don't match it.

I'm personally not getting it cause it's Nintendo: not enough games, always missing deadlines, not enough 3rd party support, too much gimmicky crap, and gamecube games are still too expensive and difficult to obtain...
I'm not into the whole party-gaming or waving my arms around ... I just wanna lie on my bed and play some good fun games.

I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...

TBH... judging from that video... both consoles seem like crap...(one an expensive multi-layered piece of junk which can only brag but has nothing to offer, and the other a dumb, cheap tease who hardly puts out... usually after making many promises and then not making those deadlines... plus I'll have to waggle my joystick all by myself to get any fun out of her...)thelostdragon wrote:This is for you two, Yi and romero:

You kinda got a point there, he he he!
Well, I don't care. I only know that I have always been very happy with both Nintendo's and Sony's game consoles. I've had all the Nintendo systems (except the SNES) and they were all great. I have had the PSX and PS2 and I'm planning to get the PS3. There might have been more games for the Play Station consoles, but I was almost always only interested in the "Metal Gear Solid" games. I have many others here, but haven't played through most of them. "Kingdom Hearts" was a title I enjoyed a lot, though and the "Pro Evolution Soccer"-series.
But overall, I have had the most fun with the Nintendo machines.

I never had any of Sony's consoles, so I cant comment on those. I'm sure they would have been fun if I would have had them though.
I have owned a couple of Nintendo's consoles. Started with the Snes, and I had a copybox for that so I had pretty much all the games. I enjoyed it, especially International Superstar Soccer and a few other titles, but nothing too special.
Didnt get a N64 cause it just didnt appeal to me. I felt it didnt have enough interesting games to warrant a purchase. I think not long after, I purchased a 2nd hand Dreamcast and that was the most fun with a console I ever had. So many great games came out for that, and the joypad was pretty good as well.
A shame it failed.
About a year, maybe 2 years ago, I bought a Gamecube. I came across a good deal where I could buy a new Cube, plus Zelda WW and a bonusdisc which had Ocarina on it, for 75 euro (store was getting rid of stock cube packages).
Zelda is/was a lot fo fun, and I also bought some other games for it, like Viewtifull Joe 2, F-Zero, Harvest Moon and another game...
TBH, F-Zero was entertaining but when I want to play racing games, I play them on my Xbox. Viewtifull Joe seemed like fun but I stopped playing after the very first level. The other games are more for my girlfriend TBH.
Anyway, there are a few games out on Gamecube that 'm intersted in and which might be fun, but they're still too expensive to pick up (Resident Evil 4, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros) or havent been released here (yet?), like the very highly rated Naruto games.
So for me, the Cube hasnt brought me alot of joy, apart from Zelda obviously. There's hardly any 3rd part support, and if there IS, then there are usually better versions of the same game available for xbox, and cheaper.
I think the same is and will remain true for the Wii.
Only Cube/Wii game I'm still remotely interested in atm, is the new Zelda.
But I wont pay 60 euro for the cube version, and I wont buy a Wii either. So we'll see how that ends up.
So for me, Nintendo is no longer an option for me, and I think I will have to go for a 360 once I go next-gen. But not before there's a nice price-drop...

Hey I dont think there is such a thing as a bad console
just bad games. Hell I still have my Dreamcast, cracking games dont age to badly
Still I would go for the Wii if it looked like that skinny slapper mind you
but it doesnt and that controler is just insanity, I like to play games, not "try" to play games. You sneeze with that Wii controler and your games over

I played Call of Duty 3 once whilst I was having a coughing fit. The only thing that suffered was my hit accuracy; I got through the level.
But the thing with the Wii is that once developers start applying the extra control features (and I stressed the word on purpose, as it doesn't replace existing methods of control, it adds to them), we'll see even more immersive games. At the moment, only Nintendo have done it 100%. UbiSoft managed to balls up everything else about Far Cry with the exception of the control mechanism which will no doubt become de rigeur in future FPS games.
Shiny graphics only cover up bad games for so long; FIFA still sucks balls compared to the mighty Pro Evo. If someone's attempting (and importantly succeeding) at something new, then kudos to 'em.
