Miike's film has undergone a 4K restauration and the World Premiere will be at Fantastic Fest. I'm already looking forward to throwing out that worthless upscaled previous US BD.

Well Go have licensed the 4K Restauration for theatrical and home video release in the US. The theatrical engagement will start on November 10th in New York and will then expand. I'd expect the BD sometime in 2018.

Cool. I haven't seen this for a decade at least.
