Great thanks for posting. Got to be a branched presentation, its too big a release to fuck up. Hopefully they insert Lee's dialogue to the opening too.

I agree with LS, I hope Lee's dialogue at the start is restored, John Little's impression is poor, even Bey Logan would have been better!
I've never seen the theatrical cut so if they find it and include it along with the SE it would be cool.

do you think it's some sort of lost treasure? it's been available on vhs & Laserdisc,hardly something in need of finding.

When I say find I meant "restore" I guess, or just "If they can be bothered", not sure an HD master of the TC exsists
They seem to consider the SE the only version these days.
They'll probably have to "find" Bruce's audio for the monk scene (it has to be somewhere).

The laserdisc was incorrectly framed, i used to own it.

Shout Factory have the USA rights to the other Bruce Lee movies and are releasing them starting next July.

Hope they have good presentations. I'm keen to see whether ETD gets a remaster (the old BD was OK but not great).

WOW. Great news. I already LOVE Shout Factory. Finally an indie label that do good releases took an interest in the HK market.

I'm pretty sure their transfers for Audition and Ichi the Killer were poor though.

I found a fandub of the monk scene which uses Bruce's real voice and the scene works SO much better, the audio was from a Japanese LP from the 70's I think:

ETD is due on June 11 BTW, and it seems yet more will be announced about it soon. Original theatrical cut would be nice, and a new commentary, the Paul Heller one is terrible.

it's already been announced that the Heller commentary will be used yet again.
