Compare to HKL disc?
You don't need compare to HKL becouse of both of disc better than HKL.
I'm surprised that Project A mono soundtrack fearture JC sing a song 'theme of project A' in the last NG cregit. 5.1ch remix fearture humming version that same as mega star and HKL.

Just got mine. Good picture quality, desent extas, BUT...
I remember a version, where Jackie sings over the closing credits of Project A, and they have at least three takes of Jackie trying to climb the wall.( I beleive it was a Japanese LD)
On this IVL release they used the same version as I have on the Deltamac DVD, where during the credits instead of the song they just sing la-la-la, and there are no enough outtakes. However, these "missing" outtakes can be seen among bonus features as NG footage
So, I'm slightly dissapointed

Do they sing la-la-la even on the "original" Cantonese (2.0) track Di Ma?

On my MIHK tape Jackie sings the song properly.

Never checked the Cantonese soundtrack! I just watched it with a default soundtrack, whatever it was...Gotta check it out!
Still, the outtakes reel is too short to accompany the song, that's why they freezed that last frame for so long

On the original Cantonese 2.0 yes it is the proper song at the credits... why is this?
Posted: 14 Nov 2004, 16:32
by grim_tales
Because thats how it was originally done, with JC singing. All the remixes/5.1 tracks (as the HKL shows) just have the one that goes la-la-la-la... Media Asia only gave HKL the remixed Cantonese track.
