whoa, I ended up with a lot of pairs where I had seen only one film...
What's the film that has a great scene at a church near the end? I think it was set in some country like Morocco or Egypt or something... (although I could be mistaken). Color film, maybe around 1950.

Vertigo?
P.s. I'm passing on this one. Not familiar enough with the films.

Could be The Man Who Knew Too Much? Was James Stewart in it?

I'm not sure if I can vote because for some of them I've only seen 1 film out of the match ups

I've only seen one, maybe two of those as well... and that was WELL over a decade ago. So I'm sitting this entire world cup out.

I've only seen Psycho (great) and The Birds (good but the rubbish ending ruined it). I've got Vertigo and Rear Window too though. I'll pass this round.

What have we learnt from this thread?
That you guys need to brush up on your Hitchcock.

At least I've seen 10 of them. And have the 11th one on dvd. Seems like I'll have to watch it tonight.
What we have learned from all these world cups is that people need to brush up on cinema!
Me, mark and sam seem to be the only ones who have seen at least the biggest classics

3. Rear Window vs Vertigo

Pretty much a draw between Vertigo and Rear Window, but perhaps I have more golden memories of the latter for having seen it in cinema (no, not at the time of the original release!)
