Clearly they don't want your money, or else you would have been able to watch it already.

I usually always buy my movies, but there are exceptions. This would be one of them (cut/censored movies being another one)

Also, you can see downloads as a kind of 'rental' or a movie you'd catch on TV, where you can always still buy the movie when you like it.

BTW, Do you oppose ALL downloads, or do you download software and music and anime and TV-series, and make an exception for movies?

I don't oppose all downloads, even within movies. But with Drive Angry I don't see any reason to download it. There's a perfectly fine US (probably UK, too) release available for purchase. Surely there will be a local rental release sooner or later, too.

I download almost nothing now...I don't think I've even downloaded one film all this year.

Nothing compares to a rental Blu-Ray...nothing.
Why go to the trouble of downloading an inferior copy, when you can get it delivered to your door for about £2?

Less than £2 if you watch them sharpish and post on, I paid for a yearly subscription to Lovefilm (through tescoDVDrentals) at the start of the year for unlimited game/film rental at 2discs per time working out to roughly £10 per month. The problem is that these online rental services aren't actually all that great when it comes to covering all the latest Blu-ray releases, I'm constantly searching for titles that they will never get in stock because of disputes between certain distributors and Lovefilm, but also because they can't be arsed to get the Blu-ray in stock and only list the sodding DVD.

Not keen on the idea of being tied to package deals.

I'd rather just rent a film (for a fair price) when one comes along I want to see.

More often than not if I watch a film via streaming or download it's something that I wouldn't have paid to see anyways.

Why would you want to see something, that you wouldn't be prepared to pay for to see?

Most films I watch are a disappointment to me on some level.

Anything I've given less than **.5 I would grudge paying to see.

An enjoyable Cagesploitation film with good attitude and beautiful cars. Besides, who in their right mind wouldn't want to see a movie where Nick goes postal on bad guys while banging an ugly waitress at the same time! Unfortunately the soundtrack misses more often than not. The CGI is bad enough to become a positive at times.
