The R4 is sharper but has more banding and compression artefacts and in the second short (caps 4 & 5) the sharpening looks pretty horrible and in others there are some additional artefacts and issues from it as well.
Again though the R4 has subs and subbed extras, though not all of them as the R2J is 4 disks.
