Yeah that's a load of shite, and even if it were true I'd still do her.
Have you seen the uncut video for 'Telephone' where she climbs the cell door naked and the guard goes, 'see I told you she doesn't have a cock' haha. Also in the photoshoot she did for Q magazine, she's got a dildo down her pants to poke fun at the myth.

She's like marmite. You either like or hate her. She's sure eccentric but that makes her more interesting IMO.
Her songs are catchy, she as a person is more interesting than her songs are clever IMO. Her 9min Telephone video is excellent, you guys would probably like it. Think Quentin Tarantino, Malick's Badlands and Thelma and Louise: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ95z6ywcBY
Clean version, for those who don't have/want a You Tube account: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVBsypHzF3U
A couple of my best friends, are obsessed with her.

Ha ha. Attractive she is not though, far from it IMO. Still someone has to fancy her.gasteropod wrote:Also in the photoshoot she did for Q magazine, she's got a dildo down her pants to poke fun at the myth.

Anyone who takes some appauling quality videos as "Proof" of a dick. Well dick describes you well
It is called a fanny coverer peeking out, it's whats stars and sports people wear so they dont slip out lips from their undercarriage when they wear very little down below.
She is more than a Megastar, she is about as big as any singer has ever been at the moment. Album and singles constantly selling millions, the single most viewed music videos in internet history as well. No one is bigger at the moment.
I like her myself. I was into her music well before she even became famous, and before she even had an album out. I was just a bit shocked when she took the world by storm as much as she has.

I love the bit in Telephone where she gets released from prison and does a cheeky little tapdance/shuffle move before she leaves the building.
If you haven't seen it, you should check out this live performance from a few years ago before she went mental. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owT0lvqtdmI

She often makes herself look far less attractive than she actually is. The only thing people could genuinely find unattractive about her is her nose I guess, but it doesn't bother me.bradavon wrote:Attractive she is not though, far from it IMO.
Edit: And I like the fact that she hasn't had plastic surgery to 'fix' it.

Re: Lady GaGa anyone?
It's not too surprising she's big. She's eccentric and does pop with a twist. That is accessible music, but has more talent than more manufactured crud. People are bored of X-Factor style music.
She does make herself look less attractive agreed but even without that, I don't think she's attractive. Not ugly but no way good looking. There is never any reason to use plastic surgery, save for medical reasons. It "always" makes you look worse, not better. Grow old gracefully!

She looks particularly hot in these older pics with her natural hair:

She looks like a man in drag in those first two
. Sorry I don't see it. Not ugly but just because she's slim, it doesn't make her hot. It's like when Grim says every Asian woman he ever sees is hot

Not my cup of tea - in terms of looks or music - though I have to admit she does look a lot better with her natural hair colour.

Did she go mental though? I don't think so. I think she went clever.gasteropod wrote: If you haven't seen it, you should check out this live performance from a few years ago before she went mental. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owT0lvqtdmI
If she stayed as she is in the video, she would never have really got anywhere major with her career, as people like that could be found very frequently.
But as she is no doubt not a stupid girl (or has an amazingly visionairy manager) she created a character; someone edgy and controversial, who could utilise her talents for song writing. She knew what sort of thing would be lapped up by the teen and yound adult market and exploited it. I woud doubt she would have thought she'd get quite as huge as she has done, but the character, eccentricity etc are all just an act. She is nothing like Lady Gaga in the video. If she were like this she would be quickly forgettable. Lady Gaga makes an impact due to her highly sexualised edgy and eccentric character, and isn't that forgettable whether you love or hate her!
At the end of the video someone even says "Norah Jones look out!" Not quite the same sort of market appeal now then! And I had to google Norah Jones to find out who she is... shows the sort of impact she's had.

The gay market absolutely adore her too.
You're right Deg. Paris Hilton has done the same. Lots of people know who Norah Jones is though. I guess you didn't

Isn't it more, you prefer brunettes? I definitely do but GaGa's image works better as a blonde, peroxide blonde at that.

Re: Lady GaGa anyone?
I'm pretty non-caring about her. Some songs are catchy and OK I guess. Not really my cup of tea, but not bad either.
If she's ugly or not: again, don't have a strong opinion in it, although she does seem to go out of her way to make herself look ridiculous and 'excentric', which I don't care for. She looks average/ok without make-up, and she looks like a whack when she's dressed/painted up.
I've only seen small bits of her interview with Jonathan Ross, and she came across as 'difficult', 'fake' (posing), a bit stuck up, and not very interesting TBH. I like it when people can just be themselfs and are comfortable with that. This girl clearly feels she needs to act the weird diva or something.
Again, I don't know her that well, as I'm not really following her or her music, so I don't have any strong opinions about her. Maybe she's a cool chick underneath all the fake, but just the fact that she feels she needs to 'shock' and 'be different' to make an impact, is something I usually dislike.

I don't see the fuss tbh, she's just Madonna for the new Millenium. Her outrageous behaviour, outfits and sound/music videos is no different to Madonna's whole act from the late 80s/early 90s, Gaga's is just more overblown and aggressive because times have moved on.

Yeah, she became a coke addict and was doing bizarre avant-garde performances involving headdresses and setting fire to hairspray. Not exactly normal is it.degeneration wrote:Did she go mental though?

Never said it did, I don't see the attraction to skinny girls most of the time, but in Gaga's case she is good slim.bradavon wrote:just because she's slim, it doesn't make her hot
She went blonde because she kept getting confused for Amy Winehouse by the way.

Isn't that the fuss? People were saying a similar thing about Madonna back in the 80s and to a lesser extent Kylie Minogue.Shingster wrote:I don't see the fuss tbh, she's just Madonna for the new Millenium. I told this to a friend of mine, he really disagreed. Saying there's been no one like her before. I thought it best not to continue said conversation.

The first or second interview? She is much more comfortable in the second, not that it will change your opinion of her.I've only seen small bits of her interview with Jonathan Ross, and she came across as 'difficult', 'fake' (posing), a bit stuck up, and not very interesting TBH.
