What movies are you looking forward to seeing in 2010?
Clearly the highlight will be The Expendables, can't wait for that one
but what else is on the horizon that you are looking forward to? early on i think The Road looks interesting, The Lovely Bones i hear is very good, Wolfman is a possibility.Later i like the look of Green Zone from Greengrass & Matt Damon, Iron Man 2, Toy Story 3,Green Hornet (have reservations with this one though...Seth Rogen as Britt Reid wtf!).

The only reason I'm potentially interested in that, is because it's Nolan, but the trailer did very little for me, hardly informing me what the fuck it's actually about.gasteropod wrote:Christopher Nolan's Inception.

Ip Man 2, Young Ip Man, The Grand Master (another Ip Man flick), True Legend (Beggar So), 14 Blades, and I'm sure there will be some modern stuff coming out as well.saltysam wrote:Any decent looking HK movies due?
Could be a new Kung Fu wave, which seems to come along every 15 years orso, so we were due.

Green Zone and Robin Hood. I'm sure there are more but cannot think of them. I've very little interest in Iron Man 2.

Don't know what Green Zone is, but the trailer for Robin Hood didn't do much for me either.

Green Zone is the new Greengrass/Damon film. Scott so rarely fails, I have faith Robin Hood will rock. The story itself has been done to death but like I said this is Ridley Scott.Yi-Long wrote:Don't know what Green Zone is, but the trailer for Robin Hood didn't do much for me either.

Ow, I love the story of Robin Hood, but it's just the trailer that did nothing for me...
Green Zone I saw the trailer for about a month orso ago. Looked cool, but kinda skeptical about Greengrass' action-movies.

Robin Hood trailer didn't do much for me - just looked like Gladiator set in medieval England IMO.
Looking forward to Toy Story 3.
Who is in the Beggar So film?

I didn't see that but how are they to avoid that comparison? Besides, is that a bad thing? Gladiator's excellent.grim_tales wrote:Robin Hood trailer didn't do much for me - just looked like Gladiator set in medieval England IMO.

I never knew a Predator sequel was coming. Yay! It better be 18 rated or there's no point.

Hopefully some good stuff to come but it's been an underwhelming year so far...Toy Story 3 probably the highlight...Wolfman,Robin Hood,Shutter Island and a few others very lacklustre...looking forward to seeing Predators & of course the big one still to come...The Expendables

Predators is good fun. Unlike AVP it deserves to sit alongside Predator, obviously not as good though. I hear Inception is excellent.
