I think Fincher just went through the film adjusting the colours to his satisfaction.

Fair enough if its just the transfer, I thought he'd done a Lucas

I hope that's all. I'm more concerned he's done a Friedkin than Lucas, which is more likely of the two. I'm getting this for sure but not any time soon.
