Bullets 'n' Babes

Both of these are already out in Canada and in the case of Seven in HK as well but in fucked up aspect ratios and 1080i in the case of Seven.Picked up the new dutch releases and the good news is they are both 1080p transfers,correct aspect ratio and dts-hd master audio sound.Not watched them yet but there are no extras.they are also region-free for anyone interested.

Watched Seven today,very solid AVC transfer captures the gloom and bleakness of this movie very well.as stated original aspect ratio at last.Zilch extras and i'm sure a loaded usa/uk version is probably on the way but this will do for me given my disinterest in extras.

How much did you pay for Seven? Whose the studio? Thanks for the heads up.

It's under a tenner for the UK one, quite a price hike. It is to be expected though. Dutch discs have always cost a bomb. Have you checked out Aussie prices?

Nice! I'd love these films but they're just too much for me. I'm tempted by Seven though, it is one of those rare classics.

Are you sure? I've added Seven to the cart, gone through to register (so it knows I live in The UK) and it says:

Verzendkosten: € 1,95 - £1.77
Totaal incl. BTW: € 16,94 - £15.35

It looks like it's the same postage to The UK as Holland.

i paid no postage-however i bought 2 at the same time,maybe there's a discount when you buy 2.maybe i got charged on my single JB order,didn't notice.

I cannot talk about your order but it looks like it's a flat $1.95 no matter how many you order. I've put Blade, Jackie Brown and Seven in the cart and postage isn't changing.

It's annoying these Euro discs are all barebones, it means I'll want to upgrade in the future and at least it's cheeky given the cost. At least the expensive German BDs had all the extras and nice steelbooks. I did only buy one though, given the high cost.

Are Blade, Jackie Brown and Seven in normal BD cases or steelbooks etc?

I know, given they're Euro discs but it's "quite" a lot, given "complete/fuller" versions will come eventually. At least with Leon there's nothing more they were likely to add, so no chance I'd want to re-buy (except better PQ obviously).

For example I paid £25 for Leon, Dances with Wolves and Fight Club were also this price. All three will be out for a lot less by years end. Granted £15 is about what the UK discs will cost but we know that will drop and likely all extras will be included.

I am still very tempted to pick up Seven though. Obviously it's the first release that is actually worth considering. Jackie Brown I can wait.

They're don't overall but I like the option of being able to watch at least something. Which is why barebones bothers me but some extras (if not all) doesn't.
