Levien (although lacking character imo) is a good tactician and his teams play to a mixture of his players strengths and his opposition's weaknesses (a bit like MON when he was a Celtic and Villa now).

Burley is not the worst Scotland manager in recent years but he is coming bloody close to it!

I'm not sure. There was definite contact by Almunia. Also we should have had a penalty earlier when Arshavin was brought down.

I hope for the rest of the season Arsenal lose penalties to divers.

The whole penalty dive by Eduardo kinda makes you wish someone breaks his legs again.

Don't get me wrong, I always liked Eduardo and at the moment, he's even still in my fantasy league team, but I fucking HATE divers, and when you screw your opponents like that, you shouldn't be playing football. Sadly, it still takes place wayyy too often and they need to crack down on it HARD.

Oh I agree he shouldn't have dived and I was disappointed in him TBH, but if they want to punish divers they should also punish Rooney, Drogba, Torres etc and apply the same rules to everyone. Rooney allegedly dived against us to win the penalty and nothing was said!

Ofcourse. They need to crack down on ALL divers.

They will just about make the quarters.beating a past it Croatia is nothing special.when they met a decent side (Spain) in a friendly they were well beaten.only thing i was interested in last night was Gerrard & Johnson coming through without injuries.international football sucks.

Yeah but we won 8 qualifiers in a row, that hadnt happened before How are Croatia past it? We got beat at Wembley (07) remember, (OK largely as we were shit).
I'm not saying we'll win it but I'm more optimistic than I was when McClaren was manager.

Good for you,you seem to love international football more than club football which is bizarre to say the least imo.give me a trip to watch my local team any day over going to watch England.

I enjoy both Sam but admittedly have seen far more internationals live than club
