I just found out that there's a Freeview channel in UK named Dave. Seriously, what the fuck?! Who in their right mind thought that this was a good idea, giving a TV channel such a shit name?

Its not new, its been around for months, and its actually got some decent stuff on it at times, like the new Red Dwarf episodes.

When I first heard the name I thought "WTF?!" Dave has some good stuff on it though, the name change was based on the idea that "Everyone knows a bloke called Dave" apparently

On the new Red Dwarf it was saying that the channel's named after Lister haha

It used to be called UK Gold, why they gave it such a dumb name is beyond me.

It's okay, nothing special.

I don't know anyone called Dave.

I know 3 people called Dave haha

I know loads of Dave's. It must be in the top 3 of male names in the country. I wonder why of the Christian names in particular.
