But no such luck.

Well... I think more people are 'upset' about your overdrawn reaction to the innocent jokes, than about the jokes itself. It's YOU who's making a huge fuss about the innocent jokes and messing up the thread by turning it into the whole focal point of conversation.

Also, we are all perfectly capable of having serious threads, as has been proven countless times in the past. However, a 'kawaii' thread filled with cute asian babes and furry animals might not be the kind of thread to demand that kinda behaviour from us...

You want a serious discussion and serious reactions!? Start a serious thread about a serious topic. Post asian babes, and this is what you can expect, and will get. Just accept that, move on, and just keep posting cute stuff and know that at times, we will make a remark that will keep you awake at night, fuming with rage and anger...

It's not the jokes themself that are the problem but the fact that people can't see when it's time to behave. There's already two babes threads. This third picture thread was started for one reason only; to be free of those jokes. I thought that had been made clear several times.

It amazes me that people feel the need do the exact thing they are asked not to do. If they absolutely need to joke, why can't they do it in those other 800 threads that are available.

Ok i'll close this one now. Hung there was no need to have a Jeroen-esque strop over this and delete all your posts. I would have been happy to remove the posts that took this thread OT into a new thread, where they could have continued with more adult banter to their heart's content.

I'm sure if you were to start a new thread the other posters on these boards would respect your intentions, given you've now made it abundantly clear what they were when you started this thread.
