Just wondering if anyone here has it, and wants to sell it.

Cheers.

I presume you have Ringu already? If not the Tartan UK box set is decent. It's the one I have.

p.s - You'd probably better off asking over at DVD Forums or AV Forums.

I have the US DVD of Ringu, yup. I'm not keen on buying Tartan DVDs because they had a lot of problems, like standard conversion errors and stuff. Their original DVD of Ringu apparently had poor picture quality (and the cover was a massive spoiler), so I got the Dreamworks DVD when it came out and it has ace picture quality (HD master).

Forget the original Ringu Tartan DVD it's completely unfair to even bring it up (it was a disaster). I've owned the USA Ringu DVD and own the Tartan Remastered DVD.

The USA Ringu DVD does have better PQ but there's not much in it. I sold my USA Ringu on and kept the box set.

Good luck finding Ringu 2.

Regardless, like I said there's still not much between the R1 and UK SE. Do you own them? Have you compared them to the R1? Nope, come back when you have. Given that none of the DVDs look great, my point stands.

Compared to the original Tartan DVDs, the SE versions are a revelation!

Ringu will never look "great". It's not that sort of film.

As in post-processed to hell, then no. But then that's not necessarily 'great', is it
