Isn't HKL going to use the Fortune Star print for its DVD of Wheels on Meals? :? Also on this (Korean) disc it sounds like only remixes are provided... :?

From DVD Answers:

Spectrum will release the ‘three brothers’ classic Wheels on Meals, starring Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao in a brand new digitally remastered DVD on March 28th. The South Korean region three disc will present the film in a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen format and boasts Cantonese audio in Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1. Whilst optional English and Korean subtitles will be provided, it does not contain much in the way of extras – only trailers and Jackie Chan’s comic scenes accompany the main feature. Expect an SRP of $24.95, but it can be bought for $21.95 from DVD Asian. Artwork attached

That's common for the Korean version but of course not the HK one.

That's the norm.

I doubt it since the OAR is 1.85.

Let's hope HKL get the outtakes at least.

Can anyone explain to me how remastering works, specifically how you can get the soundtrack to this functioning in full DTS 5.1 ?? I assume there is no decent original to go off, does this mean some effects will actually be redone??
