HD-DVDs released by UK label, Film Four:-

Sexy Beast
East is East
Touching the Void
In the Shadow of the Moon
The Motorcycle Diaries

I'd only consider picking up Sexy Beast, the price is very off putting at £18 though.

i heard these discs had pretty low production runs,so if you see Sexy Beast at a reasonable price snap it up.

Are those all of them Eva?

I hear Touching the Void is excellent. I hope FilmFour release more on BD as their back catalogue is outstanding.

I also hear In the Shadow of the Moon is good but I'm not sure if that one interests me.

I've updated the list with The Motorcycle Diaries, I believe that's a complete list of the FilmFour HDs now.

In the Shadow of the Moon is encoded with VC1, DTS-HD Master 5.1. (source)

All of these releases are very expensive though, the cheapest being Touching the Void.

The Motorcycle Diaries, fantastic thanks Eva. That's an easy purchase for me, like the Studio Canal HD-DVDs I cannot see these being re-released any time soon. Any idea what the spec. is?

I don't mind spending £15+ on occasion for a HD Disc. I compare it to spending £12+ for a SD DVD, when you have to. I won't get this yet though.

Regarding Sexy Beast:

Extras Include a short featurette
A pretty decent Commentary with Ben Kingsley and the Producer
and Trailers.
Looks the same as the SD DVD (as in the extras not the PQ)

Box says it has DTS HD but my amp shows Dolby Digital 5.1

The cheapest I can find Motorcycle Diaries is £16.39:

I definitely want it but £16.39 is loads, when I cannot play them. I guess FilmFour may release them on BD but then they may not.

It was on another forum a while back,someone mentioned getting Sexy Beast and a bloke apparently in the trade replied telling him to get it quick as these discs had low production runs.i'm sure these titles will appear on BD.

They may do but it could take awhile and like the Studio Canal HD-DVDs there is no guarantee they will. I only want Motorcycle Diaries so will get it sooner or later. I hear the PQ is a decent upgrade.

The cheapest I can find it is BlahDVD, which luckily I posted the direct link earlier as HD-DVDs are no longer listed. Whether that means they'll honour the order I've no idea.
