It just came out on March 18th. It has some great documentaries on disc two with the cast and crew all recently recorded.

I prefer the warmer colours on the older R1 (check the girls face), is the Criterion how it is "supposed" to look?

Criterion is far less cropped and looks more natural. Easy win IMO.

These tight wads ought to hurry up with the BD support, DVD doesn't cut the mustard any more.

The grey/blue colour suits that scene much better because it takes place during the winter, the day after an ice storm. Ang did a commentary for this release specifically and again Criterion says he personally supervised the telecine transfer along with the DP.

Like Grim I prefer the Fox colours but as the Criterion is Director Approved (and except for the overly green colours) looks very good I'm not particular bothered. The Disney UK DVD is a non-anamorphic joke.
