http://www.wherehouse.com have another Free postage voucher but this time it's also 20% off too. For those who don't know Wherehouse.com sell New and Used DVDs/CDs/HD Discs.

I've used them a few times and have found them to be reliable. Their second hand stock doesn't look brand new but the quality is fine, no major marks on the case or discs. All prices are in USD. Here's what the e-mail says (there are no extra Terms and Conditions):

I've gone for "Bourne Ultimatum HD-DVD Combo".

I was tempted by "Face/Off" but considering how many Paramount HD-DVD Exclusives are out there (not many compared with Universal) I don't reckon it will take long to re-release them. Face/Off BD especially considering that was all scheduled and ready to go. I'd have gone for it otherwise.

cheers,these are ok i think i posted about them last year. the code works more than once as i just made 2 seperate orders for blu-rays.great deal,they must surely be losing money on this given the ridiculous over the top packaging they use.

I also find it odd how you get 7-8 invoice sheets per parcel. Such a waste of paper. I cannot even re-use it in my printer as it's American Letter size.

What titles did you go for? It would be handy if we posted the bargains.

I've removed the New titles from my list.

You may be happy to hear the combo dvds and most universal titles are going to be dropped in price offically early next month (4th Match), so all will cost a lot less than they do now may be best to wait till then as they will all (apart from a few brand new ones) be below £10 easy

i got corpse bride,swordfish,superman returns,300,blazing saddles BD's. i already have them on hd-dvd but i figure at those prices i'll make most of what i've paid back trading/selling the hd-dvds.nothing has shipped for me yet though. i also read that the code works for free shipping on new stuff-they have good pre-order prices there.

Are you future proofing?

I've just done the same with Goodfellas. I bought the BD from Amazon.com Market Place for £10.80 (the cheapest I could find it) and sold the HD-DVD on eBay for £10 total (so about £8.50 after costs). I don't mind losing a bit to switch to BD.

I'll likely do the same when Batman Begins is released. I only have a handful of Warner HD-DVDs.

Someone over at AV Forums found out when they tried to cancel. I'd quite like to cancel my Bourne Ultimatum to get it cheaper at MovieTyme but for £2 difference I'm not that bothered.

I have also bought some CDs from them which were all in very good to excellent condition. However, they do send them without the jewel cases (which i'm not too bothered about as i've got stacks of them which i've collected over the years).

With regards to customs, they are NOT friendly as they declare the full price you paid for the good on the packaging and delivery takes between 2-4 weeks in my experience.

My American Gangster arrived today, 11 days from despatch no bad. Is there a list somewhere that details what and where the new American Gangster Extended cut scenes are?

I'm still waiting for my Bourne Ultimatum though, which shipped on the 5th of March.

I ordered something from Wherehouse on 29th feb and it still hasn't arrived!

My American Gangster only took 11 days from Despatch to arrive but I am still waiting for Bourne Ultimatum.

I read over at AV Forums you need to leave it 20 business days before contacting them, which is today. It has also had well over 4 weeks to arrive.

I will be asking for a replacement, as clearly by this point it has definitely been lost in the post. I don't want a refund as Bourne Ultimatum is now expensive again everywhere else. I see they have Used copies in stock.

When I was say lost in the post I don't mean literally, as I've even had things eventually arrive months later, but I'm not prepared to wait that long. They quickly replied asking to confirm my postal address, which they knew was correct. Checking out the replies over at AV Forums no one seems to get the same reply twice when they contact Customer Services.

I'll still continue to use them though.

My Scrubs arrived today... 1 month from when it was (allegedly) posted!
