Jesus. Transporter 2 felt unbelievably cheap and was worse than the original (which was pretty bad to begin with).

I wonder if Part 3 will be more serious or silly again. I know Statham wanted Part 2 to be more serious.

I'm not show if you're referring to what I said or you think I was replying to what you said (I wasn't).

You're not "show".

I was replying to your reaction to Salty's comment, he wasn't being serious.

I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed Transporter 2 more. I always thought the first film took itself too seriously considering its semi-over-the-top style. However, I always felt that Transporter 2 was Jason Statham's "Commando"... VERY over-the-top and stupid-fun with a comic book plot. Hell, he even spears a guy with a broken steam pipe in the uncut version... "Let of some steam... um... random henchman!" :D

And Crank 2 is pretty much 99% confirmed. Statham has talked bits and pieces about it in recent interviews. He says that they "shovel Chelios off the ground and throw him in a van" and that's all he can give away. So, I'm guessing he'll jump right into that one once T3 finishes.

This was sighted at Cannes.

Awesome, Robert Knepper. He's one terrific character actor, one of the only reasons why I would bother watching Prison Break at this point.

Transporter 2 is much better than Transporter. They actually made an effort in Transporter 2. Neither are keepers though.

Surely I expected it to say "Le Transporteur III", considering it's a pseudo-French series... and the banner is in France :P Well, I see it's keeping in tone with the "black and white and fire" look of the previous posters for 1 and 2. Wonder if they're going for the over the top route again of 2 or if they're going to try to make it "more serious".

Cannes is an international film festival, maybe that's why.

He's far too good in Prison Break, they would have killed that character off a long time ago and saved the viewers a monumental headache if he was crap in the role!

Shame he was so shit in Hitman

He better be good in Transporter 3, not a waste of time like all the bad guys have been in both the other films (apart from Semi naked girlfriend killer in part 2, she was top stuff, esspecially when wet).

True, but I even remember when the IMDb decided to make the "origin title" for both films "Transporteur" rather than "Transporter". Eh, just a little thing I noticed.
