He's not a serious actor, Will Smith isn't a serious pop star, Jennifer Lopez isn't a serious actress.

You have lots of singers that act, and lots of actors that can sing. If it's wise to do both, is a different matter.

2. Why would any celebrity with a brain allow themselves to be filmed in compromising positions? They KNOW what can happen as it's happened countless times before.

You're overestimating women. Many women just dig rich, famous and smart-mouthed 'bad-boys'. I can imagine Nic Tse kicking Cecilia to the curb though, even if this happened before their relationship.

Men are superficial, but we wouldnt commit to a serious relationship because of something superficial. Most of us wouldnt want to marry a woman just because she has nice boobs and a round ass (although it would definately be a plus)

Lots of women ARE very willing to commit to a relationship because of the guy having lots of money, and thus meaning financial security.

It's a different kind of superficial. And most men are pretty honest about it, we openly say we like certain girls because of their looks or whatever, but when we want a serious relationship, we are more inclined to pick a woman who is funny, smart, relaxed, fun to be around etc.... while many women still feel a guy who has money is a good enough reason to marry him.

So it's a bit different.

I think Yi has a good point. Looks initially attract men to women, but for a relationship to progress there needs to be more: ie. a compatible personality, humour, good nature, etc. Money and status never comes into it. That's not to say men are never shallow, but not about things like the size of car a woman drives or how much she earns... these things are only important to women. Not ALL women granted, but more than the gender as a whole would care to admit. Take the Beckhams as mentioned... I bet David was attracted first to Victoria's looks (hey, it takes all kinds) and then her personality (ditto); whereas I'd lay odds that her first thoughts were Famous Footballer With Lots of Money. If David was a brickie she wouldn't have looked twice. If she worked in a supermarket I'd say there's a reasonable chance he'd feel the same.
