If you look closely to the right of the girl's head, you'll see some horizontal lines. They're sharp on the HK DVD and invisible on the french DVD.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the french subs were based on the english subs.
Interestingly, some things that are only hinted at in the english subs (Jun and Eri's "incest subplots") are made more obvious in the french subs. Still, my limited grasp of japanese doesn't allow me to tell which is the more accurate translation. One day, perhaps...
