There must be loads of films/tv shows you guys here have seen and loved but for one reason or another seems to have slipped under the radar of most people. So c'mon recommend a lost classic you've seen to the rest of us here 8) i'll start by suggesting shaw bros Killer Constable, probably the best £4 at cd-wow i've ever spent! superb film works on every level, make sure you see it!

I'll see you Killer Constable (it's awesome) and raise you The Principal.
A 1987 thriller starring James Belushi where he plays a drunk loser who gets forced to take a job as principal in the worst high school EVER!!
Not an obvious classic - hence my mentioning it here - but I urge anyone who hasn't seen it to give it a shot. It's available on DVD (UK is anamorphic) and turns up occasionally on late night cable TV.

* Amores Perros - Bloody outstanding, gritty, raw and real. There's not an ounce of pretension like Babel (although I still think that's great). It also gave the world the outstanding Gael Garcia Benarl who is just a flipping amazing actor (think young Robert Deniro). Get the R1, either version (original or so called SE, they're virtually the same).
* Lilya 4-ever - Lukas Moodyson's outstanding film about child trafficking in Eastern Europe. My god it's powerful, probably the most powerful film I've ever seen. It's not an easy watch though. Get the UK R2 or R4 they look the same, there is no R1.
Both are on my top 10 of all time!
