Both discs are progressive

R1 Top, R2UK Bottom

They both have the same subtitle translation, the MoC has a commentary and the Criterion has a Shindo interview, both have on-set footage.
Criterion have done their usual thing of removing the first-frame from many shots, these often have extra damage from splicing or something. They've alaso done some cropping. MoC seem to have played about bit with the contrast in some places.

I'd be happy with either.
