Lola Rennt (Run, Lola, Run) - best DVD?

Post by EvaUnit02 »

What is the best DVD of this for English speakers?

I recall reading that the R1 subs were somehow bad (it what way I don't remember, other than them being yellow).

Thanks in advance.

Well I own the R2 UK one, and it's fine. The subtitles are white, and I've never noticed any problems.

Before Romero says anything yes it's accurate.

The German and Belgium DVDs have DTS but no Commentary or English subs. The R1 USA, R1 Canadian (Widescreen), UK R2 and R4 all have German DD5.1, English subs and an English language commentary. The Canadian DVD is from another studio though so maybe from a different master.

My advice find a cheap copy in your local bargain bin.

The R1 USA, UK R2 and R4 are all Sony discs so I doubt that. My UK R2 is fine. Unless you're thinking of the Canadian R1.
