Takashi Miike's Visitor Q

Post by BiscLimpkit »

Just watched this. It's pretty funny. Definately one of the most surreal films I have ever seen. I wonder what message Miike was trying to portray? I'm thinking there's a recurring theme of bullying and treatment of social outcasts - that's what I got from it anyway. Although the style is somewhat extreme, some of the points raised within the film can probably be applied to society today.

I'm sure Miike wanted us to come up with our own conclusions.

Best scene is when the guy jumps out of the bush and rams the bread knife into the bully's head and moves it forward and backward.

"Haaaarrrr! Hashe, hashe, hashe!!!"

:D :D :P
