Looks like the same print but framed differently.

The framing is better on the original.

I agree with Mark, the framing is alot better on the original. CaptainJoe, is the R1 you using the following version: http://www.playusa.com/DVD/Region_1/3-/ ... oduct.html

It still looks pretty good :)

I prefer the original one, even thou there seems to be print damage on the 1st cap. I like it better

The r1 is double sided right, it has the pan and scan on one side, and the widescreen version on the other. Has anyone got the r2 version, if they have, please could you put some capture :)

there's been 2 region 2 versions,a tartan release and an mgm one (i think)

The new release is a joke :( none of the extras they said were coming, nice!

I like the film, but also hate it, as it makes me sick, the Only horror film that makes me feel that way, very odd. Its the Head biting I guess.

Pretty awful framing. The 3rd last cap is ridiculous.
