Where have all the manners gone?

I'm standing at a bus stop waiting for the passengers to get off and this cheeky cow walks right in front of me like I'm not even there. I said "excuse me, Im......." and she turns he head away. Completely blanks me and then proceeds to get on the bus. She's with her late-teenage son (so yeah, well old enough to know better) and her Dad (anyways an old bloke). I give the son a dirty look as if to say "your mother is a rude bitch" and he just sort of stares blankly. I said out loud "some people have no manners" but got no response from anyone. Clearly I would've had to headbutt her to get a reaction but as much as I would've liked to I wasn't going to go that far. So she asks for two fares at 60p each (I guess for her and the son) and despite the EXACT CHANGE ONLY sign offers the dumbstruck driver a fiver. Driver tells her "exact change" so while she fiddles about for the coins I take the opportunity to get my ticket and throw in a little eye-rolling for free. Here's the best part: she underpaid her fare. I know this because she was still on the bus when I got off and I paid (correctly) a pound; she cheated 80p by my calculation. There hasn't been the length of journey she took for 60p for over a deacde. No shit. Christ, she probably took the bus full way across town. I was gonna tell the driver out of spite but thought "what's the point" she's not gonna stop the bus to throw them off. Not in today's age. And even if she did I'd be the asshole for delaying the bus. It's no relevent but I'll mention it anyways: she was English and sounded like a middle class twat. Rant over.

I had a fun experience myself yesterday. I was cycling past a row of some shops and some silly cow starts walking over the road to her car in front of me. She sees me, stops and then for some reason starts walking again, I have to jam on my front brake and fell/hopped over the handlebars. She says "sorry" then seconds later starts swearing at me! I gave her a piece of my mind and rode away feeling very psised off because the lovely Brooks leather saddle I'd fitted that day was scratched along with the rest of my bike which I've only had for a couple of weeks.
A minute later and she's coming up behind me in her car as I'm riding down a hill, trying to force me off of the road when there's no other traffic and plenty of room. I held my ground till she eventually passed me and caught up with her at a roundabout. I managed to autograph her door with my multi-tool then got away through a park. She was lucky I didn't have my U-lock handy, that thing does some damage.

Too many idiots about, far too many.

I live in Holland. People here have no manners whatsoever.
I do get extremely pissed off when people cut in line. Once in KFC there were some english tourist who cut in line, perhaps accidentally, and I just tapped 1 of them on he shoulder and they could see in my eyes that they had cut in line, and immediatelly started apologizing like crazy and moved back. My girlfriend said she thought I was about to kill them...

I wasnt, obviously, but I do get extremely pissed off by such behaviour, and apparently I can throw daggers with my eyes, when I'm angry...

yup manners have been lost today it seems, no-one says please or thank you, or excuse me now. they just shove you out of the way, push in queues, walk in front of buses and shit, and then start swearing at people if you say something about what they just did. we have quite a few friends who drive the buses, and one the mains street in the city, theres like 4 crossings, do they use them? course not, they are talking away on their cell phones, walk straight out in front of the bus, then have a go at the bus driver for nearly hitting them. sometimes they actually have hit a person because they couldn't stop in time. and its the worst when its mothers with babies in the strollers doing it.

Kids are the worst, i hate going out into the city cuz they don't give a fuck, they walk n packs of 5-10 and barge past and act like gorillas (most look like them too...) we were always brought up to use please and thank you and be polite, some people are shocked to hear such words out of someones mouth these days.

Bomb threat in Liverpool city centre yesterday,my bus home had to take a huge detour miles out of the way,it was heaving with people who were hot sweaty & bothered,standing up was a woman maybe late 20's about 5 months pregnant,did any of the male passengers get up to offer her a seat?did they fuck! (i was standing by the way)

Yesterday evening I was riding the on bus home on the way from uni. The bus driver apparently pulled out from a stop in front of some dude in his car. The dude waves down bus and starts yelling at him, saying that he shouldn't do whatever he wants just because he's in a bus. Not cut out in front cars, etc. Finishing off he called the driver a bloody idiot. The bus driver was a timid immigrant who just quitely mumbled in agreement.

TBH the bus driver was at fault, but the car guy didn't have to be such a prick. Good going on the driver for not sinking to his level.

"Manners" isn't part of our vocabulary here.

I've been riding the bus for 10 years and I've never EVER seen anyone offer his seat to a old lady or a pregnant woman.

If they're lucky, people just ignore them.
Otherwise they usually get a "Fuck you, old bag !" or a "Use a condom next time, slut !"

BTW: remember that I got run over by a car 2 years ago ?
Didn't happen in a dark alley or a remote mountain road.
Still I had to wait for two hours before somebody called an ambulance.

"Oh, look at that unconscious guy on the kerb. Is he dead ? No ? Is he bleeding to death ? Yes. Then let's pretend we didn't see him."

I had a nice experience a few weeks ago, not so much about manners though as just complete pricks. I got on the bus in my village, and then 4 chavvy bastards got on. I was sitting on a seat minding my own business, and the last one of them hit me in the face with his bag as they were heading towards the back of the bus (on purpose). I don't take any shit, so I got up and went after him and grabbed him by the throat, but before I could do anything, one of his bodyguards pulled him off me and the other one punched me in the face. I went and sat back down, and then when they were getting off the bus, that same prick hit me in the face with his bag once again, so I told them they're 'fucking dead' and that it's all right doing shit to people when they're in a group, but wait till I have MY mates with me. FUCKERS!
