Sex In The 70's - C4 next week (11.05pm)

Heads up everyone 
Another documentary on C4 next week, a similar theme to the ones that have been on Channel 5 recently, this looks like it could be quite interesting. Its about the impact of blue/sex films in Britain.
In the 70's, because the Americans upped the price of oil (I think), British film had no money so it put an end to US/UK co-productions at the time. So came the rise of the "sex comedy" (ironic title since they never were, IMO sexy or funny), as it was all they could make in a struggling industry really. Its also claimed that a lot of them employed gay writers and directors.
But ironically, these films revived the industry in Britain, apparently making more money than the Carry On/Bond movies.
I'm sure there were sex comedies in other countries before the 70's though, Russ Meyers "Vixen!" dates from 1968.
