The Ronin Entertainment dvd is much less bad than I expected. It looks bad in the second and the last cap (skintones) but I expected more similiar problems. There's also cropping, more print damage (pretty surprising two of 8 random caps show print damage on Ronin), it's darker (not as dark as I expected) and also interlaced. On the positive side it's sharper than Toei. No doubt I prefer my Toei but the R1 doesn't look too bad.

Toei looks the best. Ronin looks to have applied slight colour correction.

Toei has print damage and no translation, whilst Ronin is cropped, stretched and pinkified.
